I'm a wife, mother, and grandmother. I’ve been married to my husband for 33 years. We have 4 children, and 13 grandchildren as well as a sweet God-daughter who has gifted us with 4 more grandchildren. I’ve seen some of life’s most precious moments and I’ve experienced some of the darkest days imaginable, and my God has been with me through it all.
My heart's desire is to encourage others on this journey we call Faith to look UP to Christ for the strength to face each new day, to look OUTSIDE of ourselves towards the needs of others, and to look PAST our trials to see what God is doing through them, both in us and others, for His kingdom.
Perspective is everything. How we view God in our daily circumstances and how we view our daily circumstances in God will affect our behavior, our attitude, and ultimately our faith. Having the right perspective of God will deepen our relationship with Him, strengthen our faith, and give us the unexplainable peace we need to endure the dark days with the joy spoken of in James 1:2-4 “Count it all joy, my bothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”
I want to run this race with my eyes on Jesus and I invite you to run with me.
Hebrews 12:1b-2a “and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith,”
